This is, in fact, the "road" to get to the "parking spot" for this bog. Steve and I decided to try it over the Easter weekend. We ended up just walking along the "road" as we were unable to find the path into the bog. This road is mostly just for tractors and such we assume. No one else was on it while we were there, and we were walking for over an hour! The path around the bog, if we ever find it, would also be quite a trek based on the size of the boglands.
These yellow flowering bushes are everywhere. They are used as borders and even work as a natural fence as they grow quite thick and the shrubbery is quite thorny. They are a brilliant yellow and quite visible even from a distance.
