St. Pat's in Dublin

So for St. Pat's weekend, Haley stayed home for her football and basketball things, and Zach and I drove to Dublin and picked up Laurie Joachim and Steve from the airport.  Then we headed to Beweley's Hotel in Ballsbridge.  In the afternoon, we watched the Six Nations Rugby Match between Ireland and France.  It was the last match up for Ireland to win the Six Nations Tournament - and they did!!  The pub went crazy and everyone was DELIGHTED!

After that, we spent the evening at the National Concert Hall watching an RTE 1 fm radio program complete with Gaelic singing and Irish step-dancing and it was just lovely!  The hall was all greened up for the weekend, as was most of Dublin, though they did not turn the River Liffey green as they would have done had this been Chicago!

Laurie has her first Guinness in Ireland!

We found Shamrock shakes at the McDonald's!

Laurie bought socks for us to wear to the parade...

Dressed up for the parade!

Dancing the jig while we wait!

We turned into leprechauns on Grafton Street!

We had a brilliant time!
