No, I promise this won't be a constant post, but I felt I had to comment on them! Sheesh! these things are BIG! I do like that they have dark color though. Growing up in Dubuque, I can't recall ever seeing a slug. When we moved to Richmond, Virginia, we often saw them after a big rain and they would be these translucent whitish gray things and they were SO UGLY!!!!
The brown slug was in our driveway. Steve was saying "Quick shut the door - before he climbs in the car!" HA! And though no, I'm not a slug fan, I did think this one looked better than most.
The black slug was at the Cliffs of Mohr, but I have also seen black slugs once in awhile in the grass near the river.
So that's all - no more slug shots!
