Malin Head: The Seaview Tavern

Malin Head is the northern-most point of the Emerald Isle.  It is in county Donegal on the Inishowen Peninsula.  We stayed at the Seaview Tavern B&B.  It was easy to find - my GPS took us right to it!  and when we arrived, I was SHOCKED at the accuracy of the name for the B&B.

So we drove up the road, the Tavern was on the right and the ocean was on the left!  The parking was just facing the sea!

Our room had two windows facing the front and thus, facing the ocean!

This was the bar.  There is a  more formal restaurant, but that is only open on weekends until the busy tourist months.

We had two windows facing out the back of the tavern, and we had sheep in the soccer field!  Truly - there were soccer goals there at either end.  I took some video of the sheep the next day because they suddenly, inexplicably, got all boisterous and started running and butting heads a bit and it was actually hilarious! If I could load video footage, believe me I would do it.  Amy and I were both laughing.  Yes, we get along very well because essentially, both of us are 12...

Happy to arrive!
